Welcome to the News Front from the Past Archives of the Bland Heritage Foundation Homepage's News Front 2006-05-29 BLAND HERITAGE FOUNDATION CONFERENCE and NATIONAL FAMILY REUNION Announcement, Registration, Badge Order Forms 2005-07-29 BLAND FAMILY LINES UPDATE by Charles L. Bland, BHF's Genealogist, has now been posted to the Family Lines section, CLICK: UPDATE 2005-07-04 BLAND DNA PROJECT: New Interpretation and Discussion and Test Results have been posted. Since the DNA section of the website was launched in May, we have had a wonderful response! By the end of June, six new applicants have requested kits, and four of those kits have been returned to the lab. That’s nearly half the number of members it took 3 years to acquire! We should be getting results back by early August. Gentlemen (and ladies, by proxy), you don’t want to miss this adventure! 2005-05-27 BLAND NATIONAL REUNION section is now re-opened with its first page of past Reunion highlights. Everyone with pictures and memories of past Reunions are asked to send them to the Webmaster to be compiled (credits will be given) and posted. Click the "National Reunion" Button to the left. 2005-05-19 BLAND DNA PROJECT is now on-line! Thanks to our DNA Coordinator, Terese Bland Bueker, and Webmaster, David Bland, you're invited to join the cutting edge technology in genealogical research. Plan to Participate! Click the Bland DNA Project Button to the left. 2004-10-02 BLAND DNA PROJECT is progressing. DNA Coordinator Terese Bueker plans to have the Bland DNA Project Department open by the end of November. Explanation of the Project and the results of continuing tests will be posted. 2004-10-02 BLAND FAMILY LINES section has been revised and re-posted. Visit the 2004 Guestbook while reviewing the 2003. 2003-08-04 BHF Has Been Named Administrator of the RootsWeb Bland e-mail List by it's sponsor, Ancestry.com. Signup instructions and access will be posted on this page as soon as possible. It will be an important communication tool for all cousins. 2003-07-26 BHF/BNR Board Meeting Minutes. 2003-07-18 NBR Board Meeting: The Board of Directors of the National Bland Family Reunion Association unanimously voted at it annual meeting today to accept the name Bland Heritage Foundation, thus officially expanding its involvement beyond the sponsorship of the annual Bland National Reunion. Additional information on this and other important actions will be forthcoming. 2003-06-10 Have a Website?
