Managing Your BLAND LIST Subscription

          The Bland List is the Bland Family's FREE communication e-line for information of Bland genealogy and other items of general family interest, including news articles notices, local family reunions, as well as Bland Heritage Foundation bulletins of interest to all, including The BHF National Bland Reunion announcements.  We recommend all Bland Family members subscribe to the Bland List.

        Servers for the Bland List are provided free as a cooperative-advertising effort with MyFamily.com, Inc., of Provo, Utah, USA., which is funded by Ancestry.com.  We appreciate their cooperation in providing this service to the Bland Family at-large.


Important information:

1.  In order to send a message to the Bland List, you must first be a subscriber.

2.  You will receive the Bland List email address and instructions after your subscribe.

3.  AOL, Earthlink, Hotmail, Juno, Yahoo, Comcast, and other email customers may find your email provider will many times arbitrarily choose to consider legitimate subscriber lists as 'spam", thus preventing you from receiving all List messages that are sent to you.  This situation is out of our control, although MyFamily.com attempts to keep the channels open with such providers.  We may advise you as to what to do, if we are notified, that you have been blocked by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

4.  Some anti-spam programs will automatically recognize email addresses you have stored in your email program's address book.  We suggest you add the Bland List address, when you receive it, to your address book or anti-spam program.

5.  If you have an email service that limits the amount of mail that you can store in your mail box, please be sure to empty your Inbox often.  The Bland List servers are programmed to automatically remove addresses from the list when mail to that address is returned as undeliverable more than 4 consecutive times.  Most email returns occur due to full mailboxes.

To SUBSCRIBE:
          Click: Bland List and type only the word "subscribe" (without the quote marks) in the Subject field of your email message form.  Then press the button on your email message form to send the message.  You will receive an immediate acknowledgement.  Note: This process is automated, consequently any other correspondence placed within the message form WILL NOT be recognized.

To UNSUBSCRIBE:
          Click: Bland List and type only the word "unsubscribe" (without the quote marks) in the Subject field of your email message form.  Then press the button on your email message form to send the message.  You will receive an immediate acknowledgement.  Note: This process is automated, consequently any other correspondence placed within the message form WILL NOT be recognized.

To CHANGE your address for your subscription:
          Unsubscribe your subscription, as instructed immediately above, using your old address, if it is still available to you.  Then Subscribe, as instructed above, using the address at which you desire to receive your subscription.
