     The Bland Heritage Foundation's website is the world-wide meeting place and repository for Bland family ancestry, ancestral genealogy, history, and items of interest for all family members, world-wide.  All family members, are invited to visit this site often and participate in its many aspects, which include The Bland Heritage Foundation and National Family Reunion, The Bland DNA Research Project, The Bland Genealogical Database, The Bland E-mail List, and other activities and projects.

     Many Blands are surprised to find that they are cousins to those Blands living within close proximity!  Here's the website to begin to discover your place in the world-wide Bland family, including the derivations of Blan and Blann.

2008-01  We are sad to announce that Board Member Ginny Lake have passed.  Any one with information to share contact the Board President Patricia Bland Marsh.

2007-10 The 2008 BLAND NATIONAL FAMILY REUNION  offered by BLAND HERITAGE FOUNDATION will be in Orange, Texas on 25 -27, July 2008. More details on registration are coming soon.  Future reunion are planned for Shelbyville, Kentucky in July of 2009 and Manassas, Virginia in 2010.  Hope to see you all there.

 2006-07  "Among Cousins" Nine archived issues of "Among Cousins", the periodic newsletter written by BHF Historian, Charles L Bland have been posted in the Genealogy Department.  "Among Cousins" serves as supplemental material (changes and updates) to Charles' 1982 book, A Vision of Unity - The Bland Family in England and America, and are considered an invaluable addition to internet genealogical resources.  Direct link.
